September's newsletter is all about some of the people and pups who make Luckydog such a special community. We're celebrating Stacey's incredible eight-year milestone, introducing our newest Dogs of the Month, wishing Lindsey well on her next adventure, and sharing a cool treat to help us enjoy these last days of summer. There's plenty to celebrate, so let's jump in!

Stacey Celebrates 8 Years!

Eight years at Luckydog feels like both a milestone and a reminder of just how much can change over time. When I look back at where we started and where we are today, I’m proud of the ways we’ve continued to grow, learn, and find new ways to support the dogs and families in our care.

One of the highlights of this past year was helping develop educational content for InstinctIQ. It gave me the opportunity to take so much of what I’ve learned through years of working hands-on with dogs and our team and help turn that experience into resources for other pet care professionals. Getting to travel to Arizona with Dee and Jocelyn for the launch made it even more exciting to see all of that work come together.

One of the things I’ve appreciated most over the years is getting to know so many dogs throughout different stages of their lives. Being able to build those relationships over time and help make adjustments as their needs change continues to be one of the most meaningful parts of what I do.

After eight years, I’m still learning, still growing, and incredibly grateful for our team, our pet parents, and the trust you place in us every day. I’m excited to see what the next year brings!

‍Dogs of the Month: Betty Sue and Marron A. 

This month's Dogs of the Month are the dynamic sibling duo, Betty Sue and Marron! Marron, a lovable Chocolate Lab, has been part of the Luckydog family since 2023 and is the happiest-go-luckiest boy. He's the biggest teddy bear you'll ever meet, especially when he's spending time with his favorite team member, Riley, or heading out on Private Park Adventures with Grendel P. and Sunny D. 

His little sister, Betty Sue, may be much smaller, but she's all party, all the time! This playful Bully-Shih Tzu mix seems to believe every dog is just a friend she hasn't met yet, and she loves romping around with pals like Cedar O., Blue B., and Ollie E. Together, Betty Sue and Marron bring so much joy, laughter, and wags wherever they go. We're so grateful they're part of the Luckydog family and are excited to celebrate them as our September Dogs of the Month!

A Fond Farewell to Lindsey

As Lindsey prepares for an exciting new chapter, we wanted to give her the opportunity to share a message with the pet parents and pups she has gotten to know during her time at Luckydog.

"As many of you know, I will be moving to Portland at the end of August to begin an exciting new chapter as I continue my education and start my career in social work. I want to thank all of you for trusting me with your wonderful pets over the years. It has truly been an honor to care for your babies, and I have loved them as if they were my own. Watching them grow, getting to know their unique personalities, and building relationships with both them and you all has meant more to me than I can express. Saying goodbye is bittersweet, and I will miss each and every one of them so much. Thank you for your kindness, your trust, and for allowing me to be a small part of your pets' lives. I will always cherish the memories we've made together and wish you and your furry family members nothing but the very best.

Lindsey has been such an important part of our Lucky Spa team, and we know many of our pet parents and pups will miss seeing her. We are incredibly grateful for the care she has given to the dogs entrusted to her and wish her all the best as she takes this exciting next step.
