Goose Migration: September 4th

The big day is almost here! On Thursday, September 4th, Luckydog officially migrates to Goose! After months of preparation (third time’s the charm!), we’re ready to bring you a system that’s simpler, sleeker, and more user-friendly than ever.

The most important thing we need from you: please keep a close eye on your email inbox and app push notifications over the next couple of weeks. We’ll be sending step-by-step instructions and reminders to make this transition as smooth as possible.

Here are a few key action items you’ll complete once Goose is live:

• Update your payment card information
• Re-sign our liability agreement (and membership terms, if applicable)
• Use our new Lucky Spa text line for grooming communication (contact information coming soon!)

We’ll walk you through every step, and our team is here to help with any questions along the way. Thank you in advance for your attention and patience as we make this big leap forward together. We’re so excited for you to experience Goose!

Luckydog Named National Award Finalist!

We’re excited to share that Luckydog has been selected as a national finalist for the 2025 IBPSA Pet Care Business Excellence Awards (IBBYs)!

These awards, presented by the International Boarding & Pet Services Association, recognize businesses across the country that set the bar in areas such as animal welfare, staff education, customer service, community involvement, and professionalism in the pet care industry. Luckydog is one of just three finalists in the Medium Facility Provider category. This is a tremendous honor that reflects the hard work and heart of our entire team.

Dee Dee and Stacey will be heading to New Jersey later this month for the awards ceremony, where Luckydog will be highlighted on a national stage. No matter the outcome, we’re incredibly proud to represent the Eugene–Springfield community and grateful to our dedicated team—and to you, our amazing clients—for supporting us every step of the way.

SuperZoo 2025: A Week to Remember

In August, Dee Dee and Jill headed to Las Vegas for SuperZoo, one of the nation’s largest pet industry trade shows. The week was full of education, connection, and inspiration. We met some incredible new people, reconnected with long-time industry partners, and discovered exciting new retail items that will soon be available in our lobby.

We’re thrilled to bring back fresh ideas and products that will enhance the Luckydog experience for both dogs and their families. This trip was truly one to remember, and we can’t wait for you to see the retail refresh in our space!

Dog of the Month: Buck Franklin J.

Meet Buck Franklin J., our September Dog of the Month! Buck joined the Luckydog family in 2024 and has been lighting up our days ever since. He’s equal parts sweetheart and action star: always ready for snuggles, but just as quick to spring into motion when adventure calls.

Buck has plenty of signature moves, but his spins before launching into the pool are an all-time favorite. Out on the trail, his skills really shine. Whether it’s balancing on stumps, leaping onto logs, or striking a pose on boulders, Buck knows how to turn an off-leash adventure into a photo-worthy moment. Best of all, he loves sharing it all with his closest friends, Feeny P., Penny F., and Zion M.

We’re so lucky to have Buck as part of the Luckydog family! He’s truly one-of-a-kind!
