This month, we’re celebrating milestones, big hearts, and the everyday moments that make our community special. From a seven-year staff anniversary to one of our Luckydogs earning therapy dog certification, we’ve got plenty of good news to share! You'll also meet our Dog of the Month, Max, who’s as well-rounded as he is adorable, and get a sneak peek at our upcoming holiday celebration in August.

Stacey Celebrates 7 Years!

It’s hard to believe it’s been seven years since I joined the team at Luckydog. Every year, I take a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come—and I’m always blown away by the growth I’ve seen, both in our services and in our team. We wouldn’t be where we are today without our incredible clients and the dedication of every staff member who shows up with heart and purpose.

One of my favorite additions in the past year has been the pool. Watching dogs thrive in the water—or work through their fears and build confidence—has been one of the most rewarding parts of my role.

What I love most about Luckydog, though, is the connection with pet parents. Helping people better understand their dogs and seeing the bonds between dogs and their humans grow stronger is what keeps me passionate about what I do. And I feel incredibly lucky to work alongside a team that supports each other and works together every day to provide the best care possible for every dog who walks through our doors.

‍Dog of the Month: Max W-P

Max W-P has been part of the Luckydog crew since 2023 and makes the most of every visit! Whether he’s working his brain in enrichment or Canine Academy, making a splash in the pool, or soaking up the suds in the Lucky Spa, Max brings joy wherever he goes. His top three loves? Chicken, fluffy toys, and his best friend Toby G.. These two have been inseparable since Max’s very first day: sharing play sessions, cuddles, and even birthday parties. Max also enjoys quality time with his other pals, Lady S. and Georgia H.. We’re lucky to have such a well-rounded and social pup like Max in our pack!

Congratulations Zoey, Certified Therapy Dog!

We’re thrilled to share that a longtime member of the Luckydog family, Zoey T., the sweet and snuggly Portuguese Water Dog, is now a certified therapy dog! She’ll be offering comfort and connection in assisted living and memory care facilities, healthcare settings, and schools through her therapy dog program. At Luckydog, Zoey is known for her confident presence, calm energy, and her signature lean-in snuggles—a favorite among both staff and her daycare friends. We have no doubt she’s going to make a meaningful impact wherever she goes. Way to go, Zoey!

Sneak Peek: National Dog Day is Coming!

Mark your calendars—Monday, August 26th is National Dog Day, and we’re planning something fun to celebrate the amazing dogs (and dog lovers!) in our community.
