April is here, and with it comes longer days, more time outside, and plenty of reasons to celebrate the dogs we loveE We’ve got a mix of fun updates, upcoming events, and a few helpful reminders to keep you in the loop this month.

Dog of the Month: Heidi A.

Heidi A. has a way of making her presence known in the best way. At 8 years old, this collie mix is full of spunk, sass, and plenty of wiggles, proving that age has very little to do with enthusiasm. She’s been part of the Luckydog family since 2021, and we’ve loved watching her blossom into the little lady she is today!

Despite her size, Heidi loves to rally with the big boys, especially her favorite friends Ries H., Tobey H., and Max W-P. Whether she’s soaking up the sun or showing off her adorable zoomies by the pond during Wilderness Adventures, Heidi brings a fun, lively energy wherever she goes. We’re so lucky to have her as part of the Luckydog crew!

Bark in the Park is Back!

We’re excited to share that Greenhill Humane Society’s annual Bark in the Park is just around the corner! This year’s event will take place on Sunday, May 17th at Alton Baker Park.

Whether you’re planning to run, walk, or simply stop by to enjoy the day, it’s always a fun and meaningful way to support animals in our community. We’ll be there again this year, and let’s just say we’re whipping up something special for the event!

Team Luckydog also has a fundraising page this year! If you’d like to get involved, you can run with Team Luckydog or support the cause by donating. We’ll include a link to our team page below for anyone interested.

To make things even more fun, we’ll be hosting a raffle. For every $10 donated, you’ll receive one raffle entry, with a prize valued at $100. The winner will receive their choice of an add-on service (Personalized Enrichment, Off-Leash Adventure, or a Swim Session), along with a Woof Pupsicle pack!

April is all about celebrating our favorite companions… It’s National Pet Month! It’s the perfect time to show your dog a little extra appreciation, whether that’s an extra adventure, a special treat, or just some quality time together. Pool Days Are Coming Soon!

Our pool is almost ready for another season of fun, and we’re taking a little extra time to make sure everything is set up just right for the dogs. While we had previously shared an opening date, we’re holding off just a bit longer as we finish up final preparations. We’re looking forward to a season full of sunshine, splashing, and happy swimmers, and we’ll be sure to share an update as soon as we’re ready to get the party started!

We’re already beginning to see reservations come in, and holiday weekends tend to fill more quickly, especially for some suite options.
